PERSONAL STATEMENT:

During my 15-years in the industry I've created a wide range of art for games. Everything from key art and marketing assets to final in-game art and concept designs, background pieces, props, and 3D visuals. I consider myself as a 2D artist with strong 3D skills for support.

I have experience from multiple mobile and console projects and have worked as part of different marketing teams.

I have also worked using game engines like Unity and Ubisoft’s Snowdrop. I have used these to assemble and design levels, make quick test scenes, add, edit and optimize game art as well as designing and capturing high-res marketing screenshots, building character poses and setting up modular 3D characters.

I have positive experiences working fully remote with different teams outside of Finland like Red Storm in U.S.A. and Massive in Sweden.

Finnish is my native language and I’m fluent in English.

WORK HISTORY:

Ubisoft RedLynx - Senior 2D Artist (2018 - 2025)

  • 2024-2025 Various internal projects and paternity leave.

  • 2023-2024 Collaborated with Massive Entertainment on Tom Clancy's The Division 2. Made player character skin concepts and in-game marketing shots. Some of the player skins I concepted achieved notably high commercial success.

  • 2023 Worked with Red Storm's marketing team on box art concepts and character poses.

  • 2022-2023 Worked with Red Storm's concept art team producing in-game marketing screenshots using Snowdrop. Produced concept art like weapons, gas masks, props, player skins and more.

  • 2021-2022 Shifted to our studio marketing department for a year. Worked in the studio marketing department, expanding capabilities from 2D to include 3D production. Produced key art for mobile titles and internal marketing materials in collaboration with the video team.

  • 2018-2021 Continued development work on South Park - Phone Destroyer focusing towards character card illustrations and in-game marketing art.

Ubisoft RedLynx - 2D Artist (2015 - 2018)

Worked on South Park - Phone Destroyer in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios.

  • Was heavily involved in the early concepting phase by producing playable prototypes for the map area in Unity.

  • Created a large range of animatable in-game npc-characters and customizable player characters with customizable outfits.

  • Managed artistic feedback to an outsourcing partner.

  • Produced prop and level art.

  • Designed, illustrated and constructed pvp levels.

SongHi - Senior Game Artist (2013 - 2015)

  • Worked on two mobile titles and multiple concept prototypes.

  • Gained extensive experience with Unity 3D.

  • Responsibilities included concept art, final game art, UI, animation, and marketing materials.

  • Map graphics for Melody Monsters and Diamond Duo.

Digital Chocolate - Game Artist (2012 - 2013)

Worked on Race Track Rivals

  • Responsible for character illustrations, main screen visual (interactive, animated), marketing materials, video assets, and some 3D asset concepts.

Digital Chocolate - Junior Game Artist (2011 - 2012)

Worked on Gangs of Boomtown.

  • Defined the visual style for character portraits and created detailed character sketches.

  • Ensured quality and consistency across outsourced assets.

  • Produced weapon illustrations, environment backgrounds, map visuals, marketing illustrations, and UI popup graphics.
